Apparently scrunchies are still cool. Get with the trend America.
Or not. I’m good either way.
This one isn’t wrong just odd for a Japanese person to be walking around wearing.
Exhausted Maggot hell, fire does not out. k.
Honest is the best policy. Close.
Cast Money. The Earth of Hell? Maybe they mean Hell on Earth…I like the question mark at the end. haha.
This one is just offensive. Pearl Harbor Survivor. umm…. riiiiiiight. Not cool people.
This Sunday at church we had a women’s fellowship and learned how to make yummy gyoza!
The ingredients
This is the lady that taught us how to make it. She is very sweet. This was her last week at the church so she wanted to give all the ladies her testimony, some words of wisdom and a little Japanese culture!
Stirring together the flour and water to make the glue mixture.
The dumplings.
Shitake mushrooms, leeks, and onions
Getting our dumpling shell ready.
The inside goodness!
Filling the dumpling.
The hardest part was folding it up. There is a certain way to do it…and this is not it…but it works!
Some of the ladies working on their gyoza!
The other side of the table.
Cooking the gyoza.
The finished product. Add some soy sauce and a splash of hot sauce. Throw it in your mouth and ENJOY! Mmmmm! Gyoza is one of the best Japanese foods.
All of us here in Japan are anxiously waiting for the cherry blossoms (sakuras) to bloom. That will mean warmer weather is just around the corner and they are just so gorgeous. This will be my first time experiencing them. The first time Peter was stationed in Japan I didn’t get to visit during the cherry blossom season.
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
One of my biggest struggles.
Saturday we checked out a little Jamaican restaurant (notice the spelling below rastarant).
This little boy ran up and smacked me on the butt. Then continued to entertain Cora with his sweet dance moves and acrobat abilities. He’d climb up on that stool and jump off! He was the owner’s kid.
Then he brought out his yo-yo.
Inside. Very Jamaican. Got the reggae blaring. Bob Marley on the walls. Red, yellow, and green everywhere. I like it.
Working on my picture taking skills.
Peter rocks because not only does he cook us healthy, yummy dinners BUT he actually enjoys doing it. I’m not much of a cook. I really don’t enjoy it. So this is awesome for me.
Peter gettin his cook on! I made him take a picture. I swear he’s happy to be cooking. He’s just forcing a smile for the camera.
Mmmm…look at the fish…delicious. funny/catchy video

I could live off ramen. Feel bad for him. haha
