Bio Park
aka zoo.
This sign made us laugh. “don’t touch me from the behind”, “beware, she might spit when unpleasant”, “don’t touch me while I’m eating”. There is a picture of her biting pulling a baby in a stroller by her jacket. Along with the huge list of words of things not to do…
These turtles were so big. The picture doesn’t do them any justice. Cora could have rode the smaller ones and I could have rode the bigger ones. Impressive.
One of the neatest things was you could go into the cage with a bunch of kangaroos (for free). They were really friendly. Loved that.

Huis Ten Bosch
On our trip to Sasebo, Japan one of the activities I really wanted to do was go to Huis Ten Bosch. This is a European theme park that is apparently pretty neat. Well we got there and there didn’t seem to be a lot going on, it was kind of pricey to enter, and I started thinking I really didn’t get the whole concept of what to do once inside. Do we just walk around and look at buildings? We lost our interest a little so we just drove around the outside a little and snapped some pictures. Maybe we’ll go another time during one of their flower festivals.
I’m sure it is a neat place especially for the Japanese since this architecture and culture is much different from their own.

Happy New Year
We brought in the new year tucked away in our cozy hotel beds. Life sure does change after children. I didn’t set any new year resolutions this year. They never last so I didn’t even waste my time. I hope your 2012 is an amazing year.
kisses and hugs!
