We have been in Japan a little over a year now and the time has really flown by. I know it hasn’t felt like that for some of you back home but if you really think about it, I bet it has. I realized it has been a year when our friend Masa invited us over again for the fireworks festival (my first blog post) that we went to last year. The end of August marks my one year mark of blogging as well. I can’t thank you enough for all the readers who have stuck around. It means the world to me.

it has flown by even though the days seem to creep slowly by between our visits and my getting to hug and kiss my gorgeous daughter and beautiful grandbaby.
