Kicked it off with some fruity sparkling sake. Delicious.
Then we got out the real sake...it was the best I ever had but sometimes it is hard to get past the initial nail polish remover smell...

A traditional Japanese meal. A crock pot type meal. Tofu, chicken, mushrooms, cabbage, carrots, broth. After we ate all the good stuff and all that was left was the broth, they add rice and egg to the mixture and we eat some more!
